A TABLE QUIZ in support of Windgap Camogie Club which has a large membership from Dunamaggan parish will take place in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny on Monday 31st October at 7.30 p.m.. The cost per table is €20.
THE FEAST OF ALL SAINTS will be celebrated on November 1st with masses at the usual week end time on Monday evening at 7.00 p.m. in Kilmoganny and 8.00 p.m. in Dunamaggan and on Tuesday at 9.30 a.m. in Kilmoganny and 11.00 a.m. in Dunamaggan. Wednesday 2nd November is the feast of All Souls and is a traditional day for special remembrance of the dead. Masses on the Wednesday will be in Dunamaggan at 9.30 a.m., St. Joseph’s Home, Kilmoganny at 12.10 p.m. and at 7.00 p.m. in St. Eoghan’s Church, Kilmoganny.

WEDDING CELEBRATION: The marriage of Tom McCormack, Marnell Cottage, Raheen, Dunamaggan, son of Betty and Jimmy McCormack, Raheen and Orla Seale daughter of Pat and Billy Seale from Wexford was celebrated in Rome on October 7th in St. Patrick’s Augustinian Church with Rev. Tony Finn OSA as the celebrant of the mass. The matron of Honour was Gemma Kinsella with Caroline Deegan and Cora Mullen as bridesmaids. Noel McCormack was best man with Jim McCormack and Padraig Moore as Groomsmen. Family members, relatives and friends travelled to Rome for the celebration.
THE DUNAMAGGAN PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL will meet on this Thursday 27th October at 8.00 p.m. is St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny. Among the items on its agenda will be preparation for Christmas, a discussion on the future grouping of parishes in pastoral areas and how and in what ways to encourage greater lay participation in parish activities and decision making.
THE HISTORY OF DUNAMAGGAN GROUP will hold its next meeting on Tuesday 1st November in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny at 8.00 p.m. Anyone who has material which they believe should be considered for inclusion in the history are invited to attend.
