Kells Handball Club Report to September 15th 2019 In the Juvenile Leinster 60 x 30 championships the GU12 Doubles Mia O’Connell (Kells)/Blathnaid Mullins (Kilfane) has no Leinster game; in GU17 Doubles Lauren Grace (Kells)/Emily Kenny (Talbots Inch) has no game in Leinster; in the U14 Doubles Leinster semi final Joseph Prendergast (Kells)/Rory Glynn (O’Loughlins) overcame Jack Dunphy/Martin Drennan (Laois) but unfortunately lost in the Leinster Final. Joseph Prendergast/Noah Gilmore (Kells) lost out to Bobby Doyle/Conor Horan (Wexford). In the U13 Singles Leinster semi final Noah Manogue (Kells) overcame John Delaney (Laois) and defeated Jamie Barnes (Wexford) in the Final. Congratulations and well done to you all.

'Keeping it Delightful' Kilmoganny Community Coffee Morning 10.30am-1.00pm Tuesday September 24th.
This coffee morning is becoming increasingly popular with more people staying longer. There is still room for more so do come along and find out what happens.
As with all community events volunteers are always needed. If you are free to help to serve the tea and coffee, to help set up the hall or to clear away at the end of the morning please turn up and introduce yourself. You will be warmly welcomed.
Donations of homemade treats both sweet and savoury, fruit and other healthy snacks would greatly add to the 'delight' of the morning.


Public Meeting 'A Vision for Dunnamaggin Parish' facilitated by Kilkenny LEADER Partnership will take place in The Old School, Dunnamaggin on Tuesday September 24th at 7.30pm. Please come along with ideas on how you see Dunnamaggin Parish develop and thrive in the future. The meeting is open to the public, individuals of all ages from all parts of the parish are encourage to come along and have their say. From this meeting a 5 year draft plan for the future development of Dunnamaggin will be complied.


The Dunnamaggin Juvenile GAA club are hosting a Fundraising Table Quiz on Sat 28th Sept @ 9pm in Townsends Bar please support.


Community Spirit Award: Dunnamaggin Parish Development Group will present the inaugural Community Spirit Award to someone from the parish. It will take place at the next Community Gathering after mass on September 29th in The Old School, Dunnamaggin. Come along and celebrate with us.

Wear Amber to back Amber Women's Refuge for their inaugural 5K family fun run which takes place on Sunday, September 29th at the Castle Park 11am start. Entry for adults is €15 and €5 for children, dogs on leads are welcome. This is for all the family, please get everyone out for some exercise and fresh air in the beautiful Castle park. Warm up provided by Paul Nolan Fitness trainer. Refreshments will be provided. Registration online at Eventbrite or on the morning from 10am at the side gate by Bennetsbridge road to the Castle Park
