D.K.K. Lotto: The winning numbers of the 20th September were: 17, 19, 20. There was no jackpot winner. The following won 30 each: Breda, Conor, Gemma & Cathy, Mick O'Neill, Yvonne O'Neill and Deidre Rohan. Next week's jackpot will be worth 1,600. The Bingo jackpot on Saturday night's in St. Eoghan's Centre, Kilmoganny is now worth 390. The Pool number is worth 1,160.

Bridge classes for beginners will be held in St. Eoghan's Centre, Kilmoganny commencing on this Wednesday 29th September at 8.00 p.m.. The classes will run for ten weeks and cost 20. No previous knowledge of card playing is required. For further details contact 087 - 2257498.

Flower Arranging Classes will commence in St. Eoghan's Centre, Kilmoganny on Monday 4th October at 8.00 p.m.. The classes are free of charge. All are welcome to attend and registration will be on next Monday 4th October.

A Major Development Programme of facilities in Dunamaggan Parish was outlined at a special E.G.M. of Dunamaggan Hurling Club and Kilmoganny Football Club last Tuesday. The work on improving the playing surface of the pitch in Dunamaggan has already started. The construction of a hurling wall is planned. A major part of the plan is the provision of Sporting facilities in the Kilmoganny area. A suitable venue has been identified but significant work and negotiations need to be undertaken so as to bring the project to fruition. Members of the clubs will visit each home in the Parish to outline in detail the plans in the coming weeks. Significant funding will be required to bring the plans to reality. Hurling Club Chairman Seamus Knox stated that this is a wonderful opportunity for the Club to plan and put in place facilities needed to cater for the future.

The U 16 Co Final between Dunamaggan and Fenians, Johnstown which was scheduled to be played on Sunday last was postponed due to a bereavement in Johnstown. It had previously been postponed because of a bereavement in Dunamaggan. It is hoped that the match will be played this coming weekend.

Registration for the Autumn Course in the Droichead Family Resource Centre, Callan will now be held on Thursday, October 7th from 7.00 p.m. until 9.00p.m for the following courses: Healthcare Support: Fetac Level 5, Occupational First Aid, Occupational Refresher, Paediatric First Aid, Computer Applications (Fetac Level 4) , Beginners, Computer Applications (Fetac Level 5), Improvers, Reception Skills (Fetac Level 5), Manual Handling, Safety & Health at Work (Fetac Level 3), Pilates, Aerobic Exercises, Beginners Yoga. As places are limited, a minimum of 25 deposit must be paid at the registration evening. All courses will be held in the Friary complex in Callan.
