Dunnamaggin Development Group:
Many thanks to all our stall holders, our sponsors, the wonderful volunteers and all who supported our second Christmas Market around the Old School in the village on Sunday December 6th. Thank you to Stephanie McDermott for the fabulous photos posted to facebook, and to Harry Reid who took photos for the paper. In particular a HUGE thank you to Santa Claus and his Elf who made a special appearance by vintage tractor for the boys and girls who may not get an opportunity this year to visit him in the traditional way. Congratulations to all the winners of our Colouring Competition from the local primary and playschools. It was a beautiful day, an opportunity to meet and greet our neighbours and friends who we haven't been able to connect with properly, all in a safe, socially distanced, covid restriction compliant way. Last Sunday December 13th we presented our second Community Spirit Award to Celia Moran for her contribution over the past forty years to the community of Dunnamaggin, in particular for her work keeping the church decorated with flowers from her garden. She has stepped back from her voluntary work but as Father Ferghus said she hasn't retired completely. Hopefully at some stage in 2021, post pandemic, we will celebrate with Celia and her family in The Old School as we did last year with our first recipient John Walsh.

Windgap Camogie Club:
Congratulations to the Kilkenny Camogie Senior panel on their fantastic win against Galway 1-14 to 1-11. We are so proud of club members Denise Gaule, Catherine Foley & Michaela Keneally. We have 3 All Ireland medals for our small parish. Congratulations.
