Vintage Fair and Teddy Bears Picnic: August 29th in Madge's Garden Dunnamaggin from 11am. You are invited to a Beary Special Teddy Bears Picnic to celebrate Dunnamaggins Development Group's Vintage Fair on Sunday August 29th. Bring along your picnic blanket and teddy bear for lots of fun.


Dunnamaggin Ladies Football Club - are taking a stall at the Vintage Fair in Maadge's Garden on August 29th selling pre-loved gear. Please drop any unused gear you have to Bob's Shop in Kells, to Amy Connery or Sabina Bass by August 22nd.


Dunnamaggin Gymkhana takes place this year on September 5th. Proceeds to Carlow Kilkenny Homecare Team and St Joseph's Home Kilmoganny.



'Our Stories Through Objects exhibition' at Butler Gallery in collaboration with the Fr. McGrath Family Resource Centre (Immigrant Services) and Kilkenny Adult Learning Service, part of Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board, present a project in which people who have migrated or had to seek refugee status in Ireland tell their stories through personal objects. The onsite exhibition will be up from July 22nd and will run until September 17th.

Changing Habits - AUGUST 31st 2021 - 11am to 12 noon - Have you ever stopped to think about your habits or how they impact your daily life? bWhile some habits can be detrimental, such as wasting an hour on Twitter when you should be studying, others can be great to have around. Learning to brush your teeth when you were young helps you have good dental health when you are older. However, everyone has some habits they would like to change and by breaking down the cycle of a habit, you can identify what triggers the routine and begin to address what really needs to change. This 60-minute workshop will help you better understand habit formation and provide you with some practical tips on how to create and maintain beneficial habits. Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership needs your voice!


KRSP are in the process of completing a Strategic Plan for 2022-2025 and are at the Public Consultation phase. What has the cat dragged in? The Kilkenny Heritage Office need your help. Our small mammals are an important part of Ireland’s biodiversity. Without mice, shrews and voles, iconic species like the barn owl would disappear. Please share photos of any small mammals that you find or that your cat brings home!
