The Fort Rangers U 13 Soccer Team, had a very enjoyable week-end in Liverpool and Manchester on the weekend of 23rd October. The team included the following from Dunamaggan, Christopher Keane, Dara Keane, Michael Cody, Morgan Thomas, Ronan Coffey, Victor Costello, Callan Byrne and Aidan O’Sullivan. They were accompanied by six adults. From Hollyhead they traveled to Liverpool where they beat a Liverpool Club, Whiston Juniors by 6 – 0. The next day they trained at the Manchester City Youth Academy under Manchester City coaches. They all enjoyed the experience very much. Later they attended the premiership game between Manchester City and Arsenal. They were seated behind the Manchester City goal for the first half. That night many of the boys were seen on Match of the Day. They were all Manchester City Fans for the day- fully decked out in hats, scarves etc of the Blues. Has Kilkenny now gained an additional 16 Manchester City Fans?
