In a highly entertaining game Dunnamaggin came from five points down at one stage in the second half to win this semi-final with a last minute goal from Captain Andrew Fitzpatrick. Dunnamaggin were dealt a major blow 10 Minutes in when Victor Costello was forced off with a suspected broken Collar bone. This saw Ryan Thomas come into the game. Brian Farrell entered the fray at half time for Luke Fitzpatrick. Dunnamaggin did start the second half well with a quick point from Ronan Coffey. Then came the killer blow for Slieverue who seemed destined for the final but Dunamaggin captain Andrew Fitzpatrick had other ideas when he found the net.
