Kells Handball Intervarsities Succes

In the 60x30 All Ireland Intervarsities Patrick Funchion, Dan Breen, Ger McGrath (all Kells, Kilkenny) and Jason Cahill (Tipperary) once again retained the Mens Open team event for Waterford Institute of Technology for the sixth season in a row. The final was held in Kilfane. Kilkenny was strongly represented along with the three Kells lads representing WIT, Shane Walsh (Windgap) and John Fitzgerald (Kells) were on the UL side.
