DUNAMAGGAN NOTES
Bridge Classes for Beginners will begin in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny on Wednesday 26th January at 8.00 p.m.. The classes will run for 10 successive Wednesdays. The cost, including tea/coffee, for the 10 lessons is €20. Further details and information available from 087 – 2257498. As the Shrughawadda Players comedy drama Move Over Mrs. Markham will be staged this coming week from Tuesday – Friday there will be no Bridge this Wednesday.
The Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from May 22 – May 27th. Bookings should be made through 051 – 880414 from 10.30 a.m. – 2.30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The cost is €720 per person sharing.
A Launch of the Latest Poetry Collection by Ned Egan will take place in the Priory Bar, Kells on Friday 28th January. Gerry Moran will perform the launch and Brendan Corcoran will read extracts from the collection.
The Parish Dinner Dance that had to be postponed due to bad weather last November will be held this Saturday 22nd January in the Ormonde Hotel at 8.00 p.m. sharp. Music will be provided by Marble City Sounds and followed by a D.J. Those attending are asked to please be seated on time to assist the organisers.
