THE ANNUAL VARIETY CONCERT in aid of St. Eoghan’s School, Kilmoganny will take place in Dunphy’s Lounge, Kilmoganny on Saturday 21stJune at 9.30 p.m. The programme of events will correspond to the high standards of previous years.

Brennan. Bridge is held in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny on each Wednesday at
8.00 p.m. As this is the season when a number of Bridge Clubs cease playing for
the Summer visitors and new members are welcome in Kilmoganny. Partners will be
provided for participants.

THE ANNUAL MASS FOR
STUDENTS sitting examinations from the parish of
Dunamaggan was celebrated in St. Eoghan’s Church last Saturday at 7.00 p.m.
Students from Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate Classes and their
parents took an active part in the liturgy by presenting gifts and symbols,
reading the readings and prayers of the faithful and the reflection after
communion. The students from the parish are as follows: JUNIOR CERTS: Garry Browne, Eva Capasso, Barry Cleere,
Jack Crehan, Rory Cullen, Brian Farrell, Luke Fitzpatrick, Angela Hegarty,
Darragh Keane, Claire Kirwan, Killian Lafford, Conor Lawlor, Elizabeth
Lebadova, Rory Lodge, Cathy Long, Jamie McLoughlin, Aoibheann Moran, Alan
Persse. LEAVING CERTS: Alison, Bergin, William Bergin, Kieran Condon,
Aaron Doherty, Katie Dunphy, Marina Kelly, Michaela Kenneally, Paul Kirwan,
Stephen Lawlor, Michelle Maher, Emer Moylan, Ryan Thomas, Megan Walsh.
THE HISTORY OF DUNAMAGGAN group will next meet on Tuesday 17th June at 8.00 p.m.
in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny. At present pupils from St. Leonard’s School
are researching field names from their areas and would welcome support with
this project. At this next meeting any additional information on All-Ireland
Medal winners would be welcomed as the list is almost complete. In addition so
as not to omit recording events which have occurred in living memory
submissions on events which have taken place in the lifetime of people
submissions of recent events are very welcome.
