60x30 Nationals Report
Ladies Open - Round Robin - Section 1 in Kilfane
Marie Walshe/Rebecca Mulholland (Kilkenny) teamed up in the Ladies Open grade held in Kilfane. Their first match saw them take on Niamh Dunne and Ciara Dowling narrowly losing out to the Laois pair in a tough game 31-29. They then met Aoife Quinn/Shona Ruane (Sligo/Mayo) and the Kilkenny ladies put on a strong showing to defeat the Connacht pairing 31-18 to qualify for the Cup final. The other side of the draw saw Lisa McKenna/Sabrina Hughes (Dublin) get through to the final beating Kildare's Kate & Hannah Dagg

Ladies Open Doubles Final 
Marie Walshe/Rebecca Mulholland (Kilkenny) dft Lisa McKenna/Sabrina Hughes (Dublin) 31-11. The final held later that day saw Marie and Rebecca put on an excellent performance to claim the National title against the Dublin pair in Kilfane. Marie and Rebecca former All Ireland Junior Doubles winners proved too strong for Dublin on the day and well done to both on an excellent victory

Mens B Doubles - Round Robin - Section 1 in Clonmel
Dan Breen/Jason Murphy (Kilkenny/Wexford) dft Ryan Daly/Darragh Daly 31-29. Dan teamed up with Wexford player Jason Murphy and got off to a great start by defeating the Daly brothers from Tyrone who ended up winning the Mens B Nationals title later in the day. In their second match they met Limerick pair Sean Murphy/Anthony Donnelly who beat them 31-25. With only 4 aces separating the three pairs Dan and Jason qualified for the plate final with the Daly brothers getting through to the cup final

Mens B Doubles - Round Robin - Section 2 in Clonmel
Brendan Burke/Diarmuid Burke (Kilkenny) dft Galen Riordan/Martin Mullins (Wexford/Carlow) 31-14. The Burke brothers got off to a great start in section 2 of the Mens B with a win over the Wexford/Carlow pairing of Riordan and Mullins. In their next game they lost out to the strong Carlow partership of Daniel Fenlon/Ollie Ryan 31-18. The Carlow team continued their form beating Riordan and Mullins to qualify for the cup final with Brendan and Diarmuid getting through to the plate final

Mens B Doubles Plate Final
Dan Breen/Jason Murphy (Kilkenny/Wexford) dft Brendan Burke/Diarmuid Burke (Kilkenny) 16-15. In a closely fought game throughout on Saturday evening in Clonmel saw a one point victory for Dan and Jason enough to claim the plate title over the Burke brothers. Incidentally all four players had picked up Interclub All Ireland titles the previous weekend

Boys U15 Doubles - Round 1 in Clogh
Daniel Kavanagh/Sean Kerr (Wexford/Tyrone) dft Conor Condon/Kevin Diggans (Kilkenny/Kildare) 31-6. Conor teamed up with Kildare player Kevin Diggans and unfortunately came up against a very strong pair in Kavanagh and Kerr who ended the day as Boys U15 Nationals Champions. Conor and Kevin went into the plate section where they reached the semi final losing out to Clogh and Kilkenny pair Ciaran Cooney and Aidan Barry 25-13

Boys U17 Doubles - Round 1 in Mullinavat
Shane Flynn/Daniel Moynihan (Cork) dft Roy Cullen/Dion Bourke (Kilkenny). Roy teamed up with Mothel player Dion Bourke and lost out to Cork in their first round and qualified for the plate section where they lost out in the semi finals to Roscommon's Cathal O’Connor/Mickey Joe Egan
