A MEETING OF PARENTS of children who will receive their First Holy Communion next May 2015 will take place in St. Leonard’s Hall, Dunamaggan on next Wednesday 10th September at 7.00 p.m. The meeting will conclude before 7.45 p.m.


KILMOGANNY BRIDGE CLUB: The results of Wednesday 27th August were: 1st:
Margaret Dunne & Emer Wallace, 2nd: Pascal Grace & Ellen
Delahunty; 3rd: Mary Lonergan & Josie O’Gorman.


 


KELLS HANDBALL: In the final of the Kilfane 60 x 30 Hal Clarke Tournament 2014 Anthony
Martin (Kells) defeated Ger McGrath (Kells). In
the Adult County 60 x 30 in the Intermediate Singles semi-final Anthony Martin (Kells) defeated C. J. Delaney (Kells) and defeated John O’Neill (Goresbridge) in the final; in the Intermediate Doubles Dan Breen/Anthony Martin (Kells) got a walkover from Andrew Hosey/Colm Love (Clogh). In the Leinster Juvenile 60 x 30 championships in Boys U 17 Singles Conor Condon (Kells) was
defeated by Aaron Boylan (Westmeath) and in the
Boys U 16 Doubles Roy Cullen (Kells)/Dion
Bourke (Mothel) defeated Conor Smith/Dylan Quegan (Offaly).  Congratulations and well
done to all.

THE COMMUNITY ALERT in Dunamaggan parish are holding a Church gate Collection on next
week-end. Your support for the community alert is very necessary as it provided
the text alert service in the area.

BRIDGE LESSONS FOR
BEGINNERS
will take place in St. Eoghan’s Centre,
Kilmoganny beginning on Wednesday 1st October and running for 10
successive Wednesdays. The total cost for the lessons in €20 and this included
a cup of tea. No previous card playing experience is necessary. For further
information contact any member of Kilmoganny Bridge Club or 087 – 2257498. It
is not necessary to pre-register. Those interested may arrive on the night.
