KILMOGANNY BRIDGE CLUB: The results of Wednesday 29th October were: Individual
Competition: 1st: Mary Delaney, 2nd: Margaret O’Shea and
3rd: Margaret Dunne. Bridge is played each Wednesday in St. Eoghan’s
Centre, Kilmoganny at 8.00 p.m. Visitors and new members are welcome

KELLS MOUSE RACE:  A novel evening’s
entertainment will take place in Delaney’s Pub, Kells on Friday 14th
November at 8.00 p.m. The attractive fun evening will be mice races. Yes real
mice taking part in races. You can buy a mouse for €5 or 3 for €10. This is a
real bargain since you could win up to €500. Race cards are on sale locally.
The event is in aid of KREE, the Kells Region Economic Enterprise limited.
Support will enable KREE to continue its great work in the Kells area.


 


WINDGAP HANDBALL CLUB will be holding a registration evening on Monday 3rd
November between 7.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m.  in the Handball Alley. All
juveniles must be registered by an adult on the night. Annual
Christmas raffle tickets will be given out on the night.


 


KELLS HANDBALL CLUB: In the All Ireland final of
the U 12/13 Team 6, the Kilkenny Team of Dylan Crehan (Kells), Billy O'Neill, Kyle Dunne, Jamie Maher, Jack Buggy,  Eamon Brennan (Clogh), Tom Holden and Peter
McDonald (Kilfane) were defeated by Tipperary 73 - 72 and in the All Ireland
Final the Kilkenny U 16/17 Team 4 of Nick O’Shea, Rory Lodge (Kells), Conor
Fahey, Shane Reilly (Mothel) and David Doyle (Windgap) were defeated by
Waterford.


 


MASS FOR BEREAVED
FAMILIES:
A special mass especially for families
who suffered bereavement during 2013 – 2014 either of relatives within the
Parish of Dunamaggan or outside the parish will be celebrated in St. Leonard’s
Church, Dunamaggan on Friday 14th November at 7.30 p.m. All who
suffered bereavements at any time are very welcome to the celebration. A
special candle will be presented to each family during the mass and then placed
on the altar from where each family will take the candle home at the conclusion
of the ceremony.


 


DUNAMAGGIN GAA  CLUB: Orders are
now being taken for Christmas so as to ensure delivery, O'Neill’s and Masita
items -1/2 zip tops, regatta coats, polo shirts, hoodies, rain-jackets,

PROGRESSIVE 25’s: (1) The weekly
progressive 25’s takes place in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny on Sunday
evenings at 8.30 p.m. (2) The monthly Progressive
Twenty Five Card Drive in aid of Windgap Hurling Club will take place in
Guinan’s, Windgap on Friday 14th November at 9.00 p.m. All are
welcome.


 




WESTCOURT MASS: The monthly mass to pray for
the intercession of Blessed Edmund Rice in our lives and for his canonisation
will take place in Westcourt on Monday, 10th November at 7.30 p.m.
The Callan Co-Operative Society will prepare the liturgy for this mass. Please
note the change of date. All are welcome.
