THE PAT WALSH MEMORIAL COMMITTEE will hold their next meeting on Tuesday 12th January at 8.00 p.m. in St. Leonard’s Hall, Dunamaggan. In preparation for this year’s celebrations it is intended to organize a major clean-up of the village and to decorate the village with bunting during the celebration. It is intended to finalize the programme of events for the week-end celebrations at this meeting.

KILMOGANNYN BRIDGE CLUB: Bridge resumes on this Wednesday 6th January at 8.00 p.m. after the Christmas break in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny. New members and visitors are always welcome.
KELLS HANDBALL CLUB: In the 40 x 20 Adult League in Division 3B Eoin Wallace defeated Mark Dowling (Mothel) and Adrian Farrell (Mothel); in the Minor Singles Conor Murphy (Kells) defeated Eoin Regan (Clogh) and got a walkover from Dion Bourke (Mothel); Nick O’Shea (Kells) gave a walkover to Eoin Regan (Clogh); in the Ladies 1A Ciara Mahon (Clogh) defeated Marie Walshe (Kells); in the Ladies 2B Aoife Walsh (Kells) defeated Denise Love (Clogh); in the Masters B2 Pat Funchion (Kells) defeated Liam Drennan (Galmoy) and defeated Jimmy Purcell (Windgap); in the Masters B1 Paddy Fennelly (Kells) gave a walkover to Gerry Murphy (Goresbridge); in the Division 1C Brian Manogue (Kells) gave a walkover due to injury to Ciaran Neary (Talbot’s Inch) and in the Division 1D Anthony Martin (Kells) got a walkover from Eddie Burke (O’Loughlin’s).
DUNAMAGGIN JUVENILE GAA CLUB will hold its AGM in St. Leonard’s Hall, Dunamaggan at 8.00 p.m. on Friday 8th January. Parents of Juveniles and all who are interested in Juvenile GAA are invited to attend.
DUNAMAGGAN PARISH COMMUNITY DINNER DANCE: The Dunamaggan Community Dinner Dance will be held again in the Springhill Hotel on Saturday 30th January 2016 at 8.00 p.m. till late. Music is by the Marble City Sounds and Tickets cost €35. You are requested to please buy your tickets early so as to assist the organisers.
